It was an excellent fit for a city holiday in Pittsburgh with good value. The bar staff were super friendly and offered me a glass of wine right upon arrival, which made my day. Parking can be tricky late at night, so plan accordingly.

We had an amazing stay in a spacious Queen Room with Two Queen Beds. The decor was charming, and the umbrellas and robes in the room were a lovely touch. We loved the breakfast at the Commoner—great food and atmosphere, perfect for our family gathering with a baby!
My kids wished there were more kid-friendly meal options in the restaurant.

Unique and Vibrant Atmosphere
I loved the quirky decor and the vibrant atmosphere during my stay. My Essential King Room was not only spacious but also featured whimsical art that really made it feel special. The complimentary happy hour was a great way to unwind after exploring the city. However, the thermostat didn't seem to cool the room adequately at night, which was slightly uncomfortable.

Staying in a King Room for two nights created an incredible experience. The attention to detail, such as a handwritten note celebrating our anniversary, made us feel truly special. The comfortable room and friendly staff created an inviting atmosphere, although managing luggage with a dog was a bit challenging without any offered assistance. The use of fresh products in dining truly enhanced our meals and made everything feel more top-notch.

A surprise upgrade delight
We were welcomed with an unexpected room upgrade that transformed our stay! Loved the vibrant decor and cozy ambiance of the Essential King Room with a delightful city view. The rooftop beer garden was the perfect evening retreat.
Unfortunately, the valet access was a bit confusing, which left us feeling frustrated after our long drive. It took us a couple of attempts to get the hang of it.

Our stay was marred by inadequate amenities. We had a beautiful room, but the hotel only provided two large towels for our family of four. The in-room dining options were extremely limited, and when we ordered food, it was disappointing and poorly prepared. This was our first visit, and sadly, it will be our last.
