It was an excellent fit for a city holiday in Pittsburgh with good value. The bar staff were super friendly and offered me a glass of wine right upon arrival, which made my day. Parking can be tricky late at night, so plan accordingly.

Spacious room, friendly staff, and a convenient location make this hotel a great choice for a quick stay. we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere while being just a 10-minute walk from the Gateway.

There was nothing I didn't like.

We had an amazing stay in a spacious Queen Room with Two Queen Beds. The decor was charming, and the umbrellas and robes in the room were a lovely touch. We loved the breakfast at the Commoner—great food and atmosphere, perfect for our family gathering with a baby!

My kids wished there were more kid-friendly meal options in the restaurant.

A surprise upgrade delight

We were welcomed with an unexpected room upgrade that transformed our stay! Loved the vibrant decor and cozy ambiance of the Essential King Room with a delightful city view. The rooftop beer garden was the perfect evening retreat.

Unfortunately, the valet access was a bit confusing, which left us feeling frustrated after our long drive. It took us a couple of attempts to get the hang of it.

Our stay was marred by inadequate amenities. We had a beautiful room, but the hotel only provided two large towels for our family of four. The in-room dining options were extremely limited, and when we ordered food, it was disappointing and poorly prepared. This was our first visit, and sadly, it will be our last.

I was completely in love with the unique decor! The birdcage chandelier. Plus, the pet-friendly vibe was a dream, with a sweet dog bed waiting in our King Room for my pup.
